Why Be a Mason (Initiate)

True and ancient Initiation comes from very old schools, but paradoxically, it is a scenario of life that is always new and, we could say, eternal because it exists beyond eras and modern trends. It is timeless because it arises from universal existence.

The work of the Initiatic Tradition is to help Masons build a new way of life around the expansion of their consciousness, in such a way that the points of balance in their character and their projections become more flexible, stronger, and above all, better informed.

Genuine Masons are those who have gone to the schools of antiquity, who have turned to the ancient religions, and who have investigated the origin of their own existence by breaking down all the factors that have influenced their thought, with the idea of arriving at the primordial idea—the idea that produced human life—so that it may guide and illuminate their presence on this planet.

Understanding these things is the step toward true consciousness, which ennobles the Initiate and places him on the stage illuminated by the light of the universal spirit.
